Southfield - Flying "traffic" reports for local radio stations (WWJ and "Young Country" 99.5FM) had it's occasional rewards. Once every few months, I'd experience fantastic fog formations. This shot looking down the Lodge freeway from Southfield reminds me of those rare, peaceful mornings. As pretty as low-lying ground fog was from up here, unfortunately fog also meant there would be many accidents I'd have to report on. That's the Ren Cen and downtown Detroit skyline sprouting up through the thick ground fog in the background.
