Dexter, Michigan in Scio Township is midway between Ann Arbor and Chelsea. The Huron River, extending from near Milford to Lake Erie, passes through here. Dexter is a very popular canoe trip destination. Many fine golf courses in this area include the Ann Arbor Country Club on East Loch Alpine.
