Grosse Pointe Yacht Club -
This gorgeous facility is home to some of the prettiest yachts on the great lakes. It doesn't always look like this, however (click on the photo for a winter view). A mile north is the Edsel Ford Mansion, now a museum. Incidentally, there's a huge, secluded bay next to that mansion that's been a favorite gathering and party spot for Lake St. Clair boaters. We'll show photos of it later.
